New COVID-19 Office Policies/Procedures
The safety of our patients, their families, and our staff is of utmost importance to us. We have therefore updated our operating procedures to accommodate our patients’ dental needs, while working to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Below are the highlights of the changes you may experience at your child’s next visit:
Prior to your appointment, we will contact you to have all necessary forms filled out digitally to avoid unnecessary handling of paperwork and added time your visit
When you arrive at your child’s appointment, we ask that you call our phone number (507-288-0102) and wait in your car until instructed to enter the lobby.
We ask that you bring and wear a cloth face mask while in our office to protect you, your family, and our employees. If you do not have face make, one will be provided to you for temporary use.
Everyone’s temperature will be taken upon arrival and recorded in your child’s dental record.
For social distancing purposes, we ask that only one parent accompany each child inside our office. Other family members will need to remain in your vehicle or at home.
Hand sanitizer will be available and use is mandatory upon entering our building.
The lobby will be temporarily closed and games/toys are currently unavailable as these items are difficult to sterilize adequately.
New cleaning office cleaning procedures have been implemented in line with CDC, OSHA, and the Minnesota Health Department standards.
A Steril-Aire UV-C air filtration system will be installed in our HVAC unit and Medical Grade H13 True HEPA filtration units will be placed throughout our office to improve air cleanliness and quality.
Appointments have been spaced our to allow for adequate room air turnover time between patients.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and commitment to safety during these unusual times. Your flexibility is greatly appreciated.
